Studying massage therapy at CIT will offer you the practical skills and knowledge to work as a respected health professional, providing assessments and treatments to clients to aid your client’s musculoskeletal mobility, soft-tissue function and general well-being.

You will train in CIT’s Fit & Well Massage Clinic – assessing and treating real clients, both members of the public and your teachers and peers. You will use these hours to refine your practical massage skills and gain confidence in professional communication, work health safety practice, infection control and law and ethics of the massage industry.

Diploma of Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage Therapy

When you complete the Diploma of Remedial Massage, you’ll be able to assess clients’ needs and provide effective remedial massage treatments. You’ll learn practical skills in areas such as planning and conducting massage treatments in a variety of settings, legal and ethical compliance, analysis of health information, practice management, and workplace safety.

Remedial Massage Therapy, Myotherapy

This course is no longer being offered, however, past graduates are eligible to join ANTA with the modality of Remedial Massage. If graduates have proof of a Dry Needling qualification, then they will qualify for the modality of Myotherapy as well.
