Foundation Training in Clinical Ayurveda

Foundation Training in Clinical Ayurveda (FTCA) is a comprehensive certification course that aims to provide a strong foundation in the principles and practices of Ayurveda.

This course is suitable for all natural health practitioners.

The FTCA will run from May 2023 to March 2024. The total course hours, including self-study, are 350. There will be seven two-day intensive sessions required as outlined below:

  • Session 1: 25-26 May 2023 (Thursday & Friday)
  • Session 2: 22-23 June 2023 (Thursday & Friday)
  • Session 3: 7-8 August 2023 (Monday & Tuesday)
  • Session 4: 28-29 September 2023 (Thursday & Friday)
  • Session 5: 9-10 November 2023 (Thursday & Friday)
  • Session 6: 18-19 January 2024 (Thursday & Friday)
  • Session 7: 7-8 March 2024 (Thursday & Friday)

During these intensive sessions, we will dive deep into Ayurvedic principles and practices, exploring topics such as Ayurvedic physiology, disease processes, and pulse diagnosis. We will also cover herbal pharmacology, classical Ayurvedic treatments, and physiological detoxification procedures.

By the end of the course, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of Ayurvedic principles and practices. You will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to use Ayurveda in your practice or daily life. The course will also provide an opportunity for you to claim the course hours as CPE through organisations such as ANTA and Yoga Australia.
