We want our natural therapists to be the best in the country, which is why every course on our website goes through a strict approval process by qualified practitioners. We also audit our recognised courses annually to make sure they’re still delivering relevant, first-rate training.
This approval process allows you to select an ANTA-recognised course of exceptional quality, and ensure that you get the best possible education for your exciting new career.
ANTA covers a wide range of natural therapy modalities, each represented by a specialist board member (Branch Chair). By joining ANTA, you can have several modalities recognised by a single association, with support from board members who are practitioners with the same skillset, or higher.

While ANTA does recognise some natural therapy courses completed online, unfortunately, we don’t recognise undergraduate courses that have been delivered mostly through distance/online self-paced study. Health funds do not recognise these types of natural therapy qualifications either.
If you’re applying for ANTA membership based on a postgraduate course, or are looking to upgrade your membership, you will need to have completed an undergraduate course that relates to the postgraduate course.
Flexible delivery or self-directed learning is fine for postgraduate courses, provided you have completed an ANTA-approved undergraduate course that contains the clinical practicum required to be a practitioner, and is related to the postgraduate course.
