What is the multi-modality membership Pathway?

Practitioners in this branch have at least two professional disciplines recognised by ANTA. For example, if you are an ‘Acupuncturist’ and a ‘Chinese Herbalist’ then Multimodality branch represents an opportunity to be better represented in all disciplines.

Further, if you are a ‘Naturopath’, and a ‘Western Herbalist’ and / or ‘Nutritionist’, then multimodality branch also provides recognition, advocacy, and representation of all modalities co-currently.

What are the benefits to joining ANTA as a Multi-Modality association?

  • The multimodality branch truly encapsulates ANTA, what we represent, and provides the opportunity to be covered for more than one professional discipline under a single ANTA modality category.
  • As a multimodality practitioner you have greater knowledge and skill across disciplines. This can have direct impact on enhanced patient care and clinical practice.

All the following quotes can also be used:

  • Taking pride in a more comprehensive scope of clinical modalities that ANTA represents
  • We are the association with the highest standards for Australian natural therapists looking for (requiring) a multi-modality association.
  • There are many professional natural therapists that have multiple qualifications in the field, and through their own multi-faceted approach benefit from the cross-learnings and networking opportunities available within multi-modality associations.
  • ANTA has the capacity, focus and ability to support highly qualified, clinically-practicing members professionally and this truly sets us apart from other associations.
  • A collaborative network/organization that integrates various natural healthcare practices and disciplines
  • Key features: holistic approach; interdisciplinary collaboration; patient-centred focus; celebrating diversity of complementary and traditional medicine therapies; broad skill set/expertise and diverse therapeutic tools; enhanced professional networks and broader scope for referrals
